Definition: The tarsal bones are located in the midfoot and rearfoot areas. The seven tarsal bones in the foot and ankle are called; "talus," "calcaneus," "navicular," "cuboid," "medial cuneiform," "intermediate cuneiform" and "lateral cuneiform."
